PERFECT CLUSTER

Delta County and the West Elks are higher in elevation and thus far cooler than the Grand Valley. This makes it more suited for Alsatian (Riesling, Gewurztramier, Pinot Gris) and Burgundian varietals (Chardonnay and Pinot Noir). Our climate is most favorable to early ripening varietals such as Merlot, Syrah and Petit Verdot; varietals that do not require as long a growing season.
