VINEYARD STAY

Full For The Season

Sutcliffe Vineyards has two beautiful houses amongst the vines. A rather eccentric 54 foot Tower and an adobe house affectionately referred to as the Yellow House. Town and Country of May 2007 has an extensive article, with spectacular photos, of the whole farm. We had received so many requests to stay, that in the fall we had our first paying guests. They were heading for Dunton Springs with whom we have a close involvement, and everything proved delightful.

To the north of the Farm are 180,000 acres of the Canyon of the Ancients National Monument, some of the most brilliant desert biking, hiking and horse back riding anywhere...all through deep red rock canyons replete with haunting Anasazi ruins. To the South the sprawling reservation and tribal park of the Mountain Utes. The Sleeping Ute Mountain towers over us.

It is a surprise to most people that Vineyards are constantly busy, thankfully not at the frantic, sleepless pace of Harvest and Crush, but always fascinating to watch.

The Yellow House comfortably accommodates two couples, better of course if they are traveling together. There is also rvoom for accompanying children.

Tariffs:
Single couple, one night with farm breakfast $200.
Two couples, one night with farm breakfast $350.
Three Course Dinner, per person with Vineyard Wines $50.
Dinner is cooked by Vineyard owner and distinguished cook, John Sutcliffe.

Accompanying children, per person a night $50.

Wherever possible all the food served is either grown or raised on the Farm.
